Subject: Video Sample of Authentic Worship – #5: Doxology Vespers
The following video was taken this summer in Schuyler, Nebraska, where Lutheran pastors met with their wives for a "reunion" sponsored by Doxology as part of ongoing training in spiritual care and counsel. The readings for the retreat focused on the incarnational aspects of our faith, and so some of the hymnody gave the participants a little "Christmas in August". We offer this clip to you here on the Feast of the Epiphany, "the Gentile's Christmas", as we celebrate the Word made flesh revealed to the nations. |
