Don't say we didn't warn you. The other day I received an email from a long-time customer... The customer was upset that he had just heard about the Logos 4 upgrade for the first time—after Christmas. It threw off all his planning, Christmas spending, and year-end budgeting. When he saw how amazing Logos 4 was he was desperate to upgrade while he could still get the introductory discounts, but felt he didn't have adequate time to budget and wanted to let us know that we should have warned people or announced it earlier. Here's the thing... we did. We had been talking about Logos 4 for about two months by the time he first heard about it. It is all over our web pages, blog, email announcements, Facebook, Twitter... you name it. We have been telling people all about Logos 4 and the limited time upgrade discounts for almost two months. Which brings me to the email I saw this morning. Today I got another one... Today I got a different email from a different customer that is upset we are talking too much about Logos 4 upgrades. He has already upgraded, loves the new software and all his new books, and he wants to move on. He wants more blog posts on how to get the most out of his brand new Logos 4 package. In his world it is all that matters and all he knows now. For many people, Logos 3 is already a distant memory. They are using Logos 4 every day and they can't imagine how they lived without it for so long. Every time they see more info about upgrading to Logos 4 they just think of it as "old news". Introductory pricing and discounts are going away. We are stuck between a rock and a hard place. We want to please everyone, but we know we can't. We would love it if every email got through, was read, understood, and acted upon, but we are realistic. People are busy, emails get lost, ignored, blocked, and deleted. Not everyone reads our blog, not everyone subscribes to Bible Study Magazine, and not everyone will get the message in time to take advantage of our introductory upgrade discounts. Limited time introductory discounts and upgrade specials are just that—"limited time" and "introductory"—in other words, they must go away soon. As evidenced by the emails described above, there are plenty of people on both sides of the coin. Many people have already upgraded and now want to get to the good stuff, and many other people will no doubt be frustrated when they hear about Logos 4 for the first time after the introductory discounts are gone. Introductory discounts expire January 31st, 2010. If you are already a Logos user, please upgrade to a new Logos 4 base package now. The base package upgrades are really amazing deals. You may be saying to yourself that this is one big sales-pitch. Well, there's really no way around telling you about the great deal without telling you about the great deal! :-) There is no way to put you completely in our shoes and mind, but we are trying to explain every way we can how we back up our claims with real proof on how what we say is true. Yes, we are selling, yes, we make money when you buy, yes, we would obviously say this is a good deal, yes, we realize that sometimes it is hard to believe just how good of a deal some things are until it is too late, so please take the time to do your own research, and read today's blog post about the value in each upgrade: http://bit.ly/7sxbdW If you know people that have an old Logos product, please help us spread the word, and let them know about the upgrade. If you know people that have been thinking that they need to get Logos someday, let them know that this may be the best deal they will ever see on the base packages. Now is the time to get Logos Bible Software 4 whether you are upgrading or buying for the first time. If you have a blog, Twitter, Facebook, email list, radio show, podcast, newsletter, magazine, bulletin, or any other way to get the word out, now is the time. Could you trust enough to buy without all the details? Some customers have been with us since the very beginning. As soon as they saw the news about Logos 4 they upgraded to the biggest base package they could—no questions asked. They had enough experience with us to know that we take care of them and the upgrades are always amazing deals. They saved themselves hours of research, are enjoying new software, and they're as happy as they can be. If that's your style too, you're ready to go right away: Upgrade now! If you have been a Logos customer for a while, you have your personal experiences to go on. Think about your past interactions and experiences with Logos and ask if we are worthy enough to have earned your trust. We hope the answer is a resounding "Yes!" and if it is not, we want to make sure we take care of you until it can be. We are extremely busy right now with all the upgrades, but even so, if our representatives are unable to restore your trust, please email our president at bob@logos.com personally. He is a busy guy, but if you can't get satisfaction from our staff, the buck stops with him and he is dedicated to making sure that, if all else fails, he takes care of you personally. If you are already a Logos user, please upgrade to a new Logos 4 base package now while the introductory discounts are still available. Base package upgrades are amazing deals, packed with new content & resources and wrapped in a new interface that will revolutionize your Bible study. Could you trust enough to buy with some of the details? We realize it is hard to believe just how good of a deal some things are until it is too late. It takes time to get the big picture and do all your research on everything there is to know (and there is a lot to know) but if you could ever trust a company, it should be a Bible software company—so trust us—the upgrades are really, really, really good deals: Upgrade now One of the things you will find in your research is that Logos 4 is an amazingly powerful and high-tech piece of software on the very cutting edge of technology. It needs a modern computer to really shine. Even if you have a ten year old slow like molasses computer, and you can barely run Logos 3 on it, you will still want to upgrade now because the new discounted books you get will work with your existing Logos 3 package as well as your upgrade to Logos 4 and all your books will still be ready and waiting for you to get a new machine. You can still benefit from the books today, even if you are waiting another year or two to upgrade your computer. Take your time if you like, spend hours researching and learning as much as possible, but if you get to the end of January and you still aren't done researching, please take advantage of the discount even without all the details figured out. You will thank us later, and you won't miss out on the deals. If you are new to Logos, we hope that your new discounted base package purchase is the first step in earning your trust. We know you have no prior experience with us, so we step into the spotlight of public review, and direct you to the third party merchant review and rating sites. Don't take our word for it, see what others say. We are confident that your fellow customers' reviews will help you build trust in us as you read what they say about their interactions with Logos.
